Corvum nigrum Obscuritatis: One Shot

Summary: A one-shot story that took place when Nina was still alive and living happily with John Winchester and Sam and Dean (who were young teens) with the three year old Jason and newborns Lolly and Siren, when a intruder burst into the happy home, revealing more of Nina's past which Lolly and friends didn't know about.

August 18th 1995

"Who's my pretty girls?" asked John Winchester as he smiled down at the cot to the twin baby girls staring up at him with dull coloured blue eyes, until the twin wearing pink baby sleeping cosy, gurgled happily with a toothless smile as she wriggled her arms and legs about, nearly slapping her twin in the face who was wearing a black cosy who had a bored look on her face, causing John to laugh at this while he picked up the twin with the pink cosy said "Ah...you're gonna act like Dean when you're older?".
"Who's gonna be like me?" asked sixteen year old Dean as he and his thirteen year old brother Sam after coming back from school, appeared at the door staring at their father who was holding the baby to his chest, making John say as he held the twin with the pink cosy to his chest "Lauren...I think she's going to act like you when she's older...", then when he said this, got smacked in the nose by Lauren's small hand, causing him to grin at this.
This made Dean raise an eyebrow at this while Sam sniggered with his hand over his mouth until Sam noticed something was off, making him say to John "Hey dad...where's Nina and Jason?".
"She went to the shops since we've got no milk and other things so she decided to take Jason with her for company" said John as he placed Lauren back in the cot, then picked up the twin wearing the black cosy who still had a bored look on her face while staring at the two brothers while she was leaning against John's chest who was holding her, making Dean say as he stared at the back back "Is it just me or is it creepy that she looks like she's bored out of her mind?", causing Sam to stare back at her with the same blank look, causing John to grin as he said to the two "Well Siren definitely acts like Sam".
This caused Sam to stare at John with a surprised look when he said this, until the front door downstairs opened and a female voice with a British accent called out "We're back and we got shopping!", causing another voice which was male and sounding young exclaimed "We've got sweets too!".
So while John held onto the twin with the black baby cosy and Dean picked up the twin with the pink baby cosy, then all three with the twins went downstairs to greet the two voices.

Downstairs in the kitchen, Nina Roséheart with her long hair in a ponytail while wearing a nice suit outfit was placing some of the shopping in the cupbroads while her first born son Jason was playing with a toy aeroplane on top of the stools, until John, Sam and Dean with the twin girls came into the kitchen.
"Hello you three," smiled Nina as she didn't turn around to look behind her, causing Sam to mumble at Dean with a surprised look "Seriously...how does she do that all the time? We weren't making any noise at all", making Dean shrug without looking at him mumble back "The reason why we have a half-brother and sisters".
This caused Sam to have a shocked face at this as he stared at his older brother with wide eyes while John went up to Nina with the twin in his arm and gave her a quick peck in the cheek asked her "So was it busy at the shops?".
"Nope, very quiet...although I do wish people were nicer...I accidently bumped into a woman and aplogised quickly when I was at the shop but she was very rude...until she realised she made a mistake at that" Nina replied with a slight smirk on her face, causing John to shake his head at her with a smile, while Sam and Dean had shocked faces at what she said.
Deciding not to say anything, Sam sat down on one of the other stools beside Jason and said with a smile at him "So you got a new toy huh?", making Jason to turn around and smile hugely at this as he handed the toy to Sam "Yep and you can have it a bit".
At this, Sam laughed as he shook his head at this replied "Nah, I'm much too big to play with your toy plane and anyway it's yours", causing Jason to pout at this slightly, but then giggles while Sam gives him a puppy look, making Dean who was at the fridge (but handed the other twin to John), grabbing a drink of OJ to roll his eyes at this.
Why is Sam so happy with Nina here? Is it because he doesn't know what our mum looks like and decides that he likes Nina? He should get angry for dad for trying to replace mum? Also why is it that we suddenly get a new brother and a sister suddenly? Dean thought to himself angrily as he also grabbed a chocolate bar from the fridge in his other hand and shutting the fridge door with a loud bang by using his hip, making everyone stare at him.
"Dean...I'm just about to make burgers," smiled Nina as she waved a box with burgers in it, but her smile fell slightly as Dean didn't reply as he walked out of the kitchen and stomped up the stairs, causing Nina to sigh quietly as she wrapped her arms around her body while looking down at the ground slightly, while John, Jason and Sam looked at her until she then smiled at the twin babies gurgling at her when she glanced them in John's arms.
"Does Dean think I'm replacing his mother?" she asked while taking the baby with the black cosy in her arms, causing John to say as he patted the baby with the pink cosy on the back against his shoulder "It's just that...things haven't been great for him and Sam, losing their mother and also, you know...teaching the two to protect themselves from 'certain' things".
At this, Nina looked at John with a knowing look and then with a small sigh, glanced up from the kitchen to the stairs where music played loudly in one of the rooms.

After a very arkward dinner, it was the middle of the night as everyone was asleep in their rooms.
In John and Nina's room, the two were sleeping soundly in their bed when all of a sudden, a loud crashing noise and the twins crying loudly in the next room, caused both Nina and John to sit up from their bed with wide eyes, then looked at each other while saying the same thing.

"THE BABIES!"

So with that, the two quickly scrambled out of their beds and while John was grabbing his shotgun which was hidden in the wardrobe, Nina ran out the room while quickly putting on her purple housecoat to go into the next room where the babies were.

Bursting through the twins' bedroom, Nina stared in shock as the whole room was torn to bits while the twin in the black cosy was screaming in the cot with tears streaming down her face, making Nina go up to the cot and quickly the crying baby while holding her against her chest, mumbled "It's alright sweetie" over and over again, until she noticed the other twin was missing, causing her to widen her eyes in shock until a seductive sounding female voice said out of nowhere "What a beautiful little child...mother would be so happy with this one", causing Nina to gasp as she swirled around to see a person wearing a black cloak standing in the middle of the room, cradling the twin in the pink cosy who was crying loudly, causing Nina to gasp at this until she narrowed her eyes while she and the cloaked person circled around each other.
"Leave my daughter alone or else..." snarled Nina as her eyes glowed slightly red, causing the cloaked person to giggle huskily reply "Or else what? Going to tear me to shards where your human mate and his sons see you doing in front of them, revealing to the sons that you're something that they hunt?"
This caused Nina to growl at this angrily, until John ran in the room with his shotgun out towards the cloaked person while Sam and Dean who was holding a tired looking Jason, ran in to see what happened.
"Put my daughter down or else I'll put a bullet through your head," said John as he walked slowly towards the cloaked person, causing said person to snigger said "So if you would do that...you'll cause harm to this pretty little child?".
At this, John widened his eyes in shock to see that the cloaked person was cradling the twin in the pink cosy who was crying loudly still, causing Jason (who was slightly waking up) to start crying loudly at the sight, making Dean and Sam to try quieten him, making the cloaked person lean their head slightly to the side at this, said "Hmm, a hermaphrodite pureblood child? This is my first time seeing one of those...maybe Will might like him?", causing Nina snarl as she grabbed the cloaked person by the neck with one hand with quick speed, while still holding onto the twin with the black cosy in the air,  and slammed the cloaked person who was still holding onto the other twin, into the wall as Nina growled angrily to the cloaked person "Don't you even dare...because I will tear you into pieces and have to use sponges to clean your remains on the walls".
At this, the cloaked person let out a loud scream that sounded like a bird and a pyrodactyl mixed together, causing John, Sam and Dean to cover their ears with loud grunts of pain while Jason, the twins and Nina weren't affected by this as the cloaked person continued to scream loudly, causing Nina to headbutt the cloaked person in the face, making said person to stop screaming as they slightly slouched with a groan, causing them to lose their grip on the twin with the pink cosy and with that, the twin who was still crying fell out of their arms, making John while flinging his shotgun out the way, flung himself with both arms out as he caught the twin in the pink cosy safetly and sighed at this.
Then while this happened, Nina lifted the cloaked person in the air slightly as she walked towards the window slightly said while narrowing her eyes which glowed red with cat-like slits "If you come near my family again...I swear I will hunt you down with my last breath if you so much touch a hair on them" and with that, flung the cloaked person out the window with enough strenth that the window sills broke slightly as the cloaked person while screaming, smashed into the glass and disappeared into the darkness, causing everyone to run towards the window to stare out it, when suddenly a black thing fly upwards in front of the window, causing Nina and John to step in front of Sam, Dean and Jason as they watched this, until finally the thing disappeared into the dark sky.
As Nina sighed quietly at this as she hugged the twin in the black cosy tightly with John doing the same to the other twin who was whimpering from what happened, when Dean said with a angered look to the two as he hugged the teary Jason and a shell-shocked Sam "What the hell is going on?".
This made Nina and John look at each other with sad looks as said pureblood turned around to look at Dean with a upset look "It's time for me to leave...", then she walked towards him and Sam while placing her hands on their foreheads added while tears spilled down her face "Which also means you won't see me and your siblings ever again...".

"Yo Dean!" exclaimed a familar female voice, causing Dean to open his eyes with a gasp as he sat up from the couch where he was sleeping and stared at Lolly and the other siblings who were staring at him strangely at the O'Connell estate, making Hazel say worriedly "Are you okay Dean?" as Nico added with his arms crossed in front of him "You looked like you were having a nightmare...", making Dean shake his head slightly at this reply as he placed his left hand over his eyes "Nah...a memory from the past...something that resurfaced", causing Sam (W) to look at him with a shadowed look at this, until Siren said with a bored look on her face "Well get up lazy...we need to head to HQ or else Lolly's gonna get yelled at by Saber and the other two...although Alanna will tell them off for being moody".
At this, Dean nodded as he stood up from the couch as the rest of the siblings walked out the room while Sam (W) stayed behind said with a knowing look "So I guess our memerioes are resurficing huh?", making Dean nod at this, replied "We shouldn't say anything to them...that Lolly nearly got kidnapped by a mysterious person who seemed to be bird-like...wonder what they wanted with her...?".
Then when he said this, Lolly poked her head out the door said with a huge grin "Come on you two...hurry up or we'll leave you behind", causing Sam (W) and Dean to grin at this as they walked out the room, with Lolly giggling at this then the three followed the rest of the siblings, but not before said Winchesters brothers' said in their heads as they walked behind Lolly We'll protect our younger siblings and the others from whatever hits us.
