~The Darkness In the Heart: Paralogue~

Summary: Nina Roséheart wants revenge...revenge against Valentine Morganstern after he 'abused' her during her capture at the Shadowhunters' Institute in New York and also for taking her first-born hermaphrodite son. So with a help from two Vampire Hunters, a hunter with a wife who was murdered, Valentine's ex-wife and ex-friend-turned-werewolf, Nina will extract her revenge...or die trying as her young twin sister Lucy is after her also.

November 1st 1989

Underground the Institute in New York, a baby's cry was heard in the darkness in one of the prisons.
Inside said person, Nina Roséheart with mud and blood all over her and her clothes was clenching a bundle in her arms as she panted heavily with a tired look to her face, while leaning against the prison wall, then she looked down at the bundle as she smiled slightly.
Inside the bundle was a baby boy who was still covered in blood, revealing that he was just born, crying loudly with his eyes shut as tears spilled down his face.
"It's alright, sweet one..." mumbled Nina as she pulled the bundle close to her while cradling it slightly causing the baby's crying to cease slightly, as he hiccuped slightly.
Then Nina clenched her eyes tightly as tears spilled down her face said quietly to the baby "I'll never let them hurt you...", until a loud clanging noise caused her to widen her eyes in shock as she looked up from the bundle and the baby started crying again, while footsteps walked down the stairs to the prisons, making Nina have a fearful look at this while clenching at the bundle tightly as a person went up to the prison bars to stare at her.
It was Valentine Morganstern, a Shadowhunter and the leader of the circle who truly hates Downworlders and anyone who is none-human, who stared down with a look of detest at the pureblood who was staring at him fearfully while still holding onto the bundle tightly against her chest.
"So have you finally decide to talk now?" Valentine asked as he continued to stare down at Nina, making said person bite her lips while not saying anything, causing Valentine to growl slightly at this, until he closes his eyes while breathing heavily, said "Seems you have more strength then I thought...".
At this, Nina made a funny noise and spat at Valentine which hits him in the cheek, causing him to widen his eyes at this while Nina smirked slightly, replied "Seems I have...".
This made Valentine clench at his hands slightly, until a loud gurgle came from the bundle, causing Nina to gasp while Valentine to widen his eyes at this.
"What's in that bundle?" he asked quietly as he pulled out a golden key to open the prison door, causing Nina to turn away while saying nothing, until Valentine walked quickly towards her and with one hand, grabbed her by her messy curly hair and pulling her up slightly, making Nina grunt quietly in pain while her legs shook slightly as Valentine demanded quietly towards her face "What's in the bundle?".
At this, Nina looked at him fully in the face as she said with narrowed eyes that glowed slightly red while having a mocking smile also "Your child...".
